X/K -- Cancel

GAME-BREAKERS PATCHED POST-SUBMISSION -- Dead enemies no longer attack. Fleeing no longer causes every successive battle to be fled. Battles shouldn't end prematurely for other conditions either. Various battle softlocks (of which there are MAAAAANY) can now be circumvented, as flee immediately ends the battle instead of attempting to wait for the end of a possibly-broken turn. Forced "struggle" action for "freeze" debuff has been removed, as it didn't work and just softlocked the player


Known bugs -- in battle, enemies spawn in dead sometimes, battle system doesn't respond to death properly in general, conch "foresight" self-buff doesn't have a visible effect ( very confusing, since that's invulnerability )


Turns out making an RPG is hard??? Broke HORRIBLY in the final hour of last-minute changes -- i swear battles were working just fine earlier this morning LMAO
